Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of OpenALKA. By creating an account or using OpenALKA, you agree to these Terms.

OpenALKA is developed and operated by WWCT — Webwonder Creative Technologies.

1. The service

OpenALKA is an AI-powered cognitive workspace designed to help users reflect, organize thoughts, explore questions, and support decision-making.

OpenALKA is not intended to replace professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, emergency, or other regulated professional advice.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your credentials secure, protecting access to your account, and not sharing authentication credentials with unauthorized persons.

3. Free and paid plans

OpenALKA may offer free and paid plans. Free plans may be subject to message limits, usage limits, feature restrictions, or other operational limits. Paid plans may include increased limits or additional capabilities. Available plans, features, prices, billing intervals, and applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase.

4. Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed through an authorized payment provider. By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize recurring charges according to the selected billing cycle until the subscription is cancelled.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring subscription according to the cancellation options provided by OpenALKA or its payment provider. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation stops future renewals and access to paid features remains available until the end of the already-paid billing period.

6. Refunds

Because OpenALKA provides a digital service that may become available immediately after purchase, payments already completed are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law, where expressly stated in a specific offer, or where OpenALKA determines that a refund is appropriate due to a billing or service error.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not violate applicable law.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Do not distribute malware or malicious code.
  • Do not abuse, disrupt, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not circumvent usage, subscription, authentication, or security controls.
  • Do not use the service in a manner that materially harms OpenALKA, other users, or third parties.

8. AI-generated content

Artificial intelligence can produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected output. You remain responsible for reviewing information before relying on it for important decisions. OpenALKA should not be treated as the sole source of truth for high-impact decisions.

9. User content

You retain rights you have in content you submit to OpenALKA. You grant OpenALKA the permissions reasonably necessary to process that content in order to provide, secure, maintain, and operate the service.

10. Intellectual property

OpenALKA, its software, interface, branding, visual identity, documentation, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where expressly permitted, these materials may not be copied, resold, redistributed, reverse-engineered, or used to create a misleadingly similar service.

11. Availability and changes

OpenALKA may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We aim to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

12. Suspension or termination

Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary due to serious violation of these Terms, fraud or payment abuse, security threats, illegal activity, or technical or regulatory requirements.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OpenALKA and WWCT will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses resulting from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Governing framework

OpenALKA is operated from Japan. These Terms are subject to applicable Japanese law, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that may apply in the user's jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes may be communicated through the website or service where appropriate.
